Psychiatric disorders do not increase the risk of Alzheimer’s disease, according to a recent study. However, the prevalence of psychiatric diagnoses increased before the Alzheimer’s diagnosis, which might be due to prodromal symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease, suggests the research. x
